Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Duplechain will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Rush Chapel, Oberlin with Deacon Norris Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in H. Duplechain Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oberlin. Mrs. Duplechain, 89, of Oberlin entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in St. Frances Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Oberlin.

Allie was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Ladies Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hammie Duplechain; one son, Russell Duplechain and one brother, Huey “Chalk” Vidrine. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Keith Duplechain and his wife, Cheryl of St. Gabriel; two daughters, Elnora Montou and Rosella Guillory, both of Oberlin; one daughter-in-law, Roberta “Bertie” Duplechain; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oberlin on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
