Funeral services for Mr. Clarence David Strother will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale with Reverends Gerald Palmer and Mike Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Occupy #1 Cemetery, Pitkin under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Strother, 72, of Ten Mile entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in his residence with his family near his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dell Strother; three brothers, Abner Johnson, Huey Johnson and Buddy Johnson and two sisters, Ruby Strother and Inez Williams.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-three years, Edith Faye Strother of Ten Mille; two sons, Keith David Strother of Ten Mile and Kevin Daryl Strother and his wife, Kate of Post Falls, Idaho; two daughters, Janice Lynette Lindberg and her husband, Anders of Fort Mill, South Carolina and Janitra Strother of Ten Mile; one daughter-in-heart, Diane Strother of Shreveport; one sister, Mary Cloud of Oakdale and four grandchildren, Kurt Strother, Caitlin Lindberg, Ainsley Lindberg and Kara Strother.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m.
