Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Marie Evans will be at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 in the Rush Chapel, Glenmora with Brother Tommy Belt officiating. Interment will follow in Butters Cemetery, Forest Hill under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora. Mrs. Evans, 68, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Friday, April 20, 2012 in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Lena Belt and one sister, Flossie Mae Bynum. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of twelve years, Edward Evans of Glenmora; three sons, Nyah Evans and his wife, Ally of Paris, Tennessee, Henry C. Evans and his wife, Ann of Boyce and Matthew J. Evans and his wife, Sonya of Oakdale; two daughters, Donna Lewis and her husband, Larry of Glenmora and Serena Marie Evans and her husband, Mike of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Tommy Belt of Henderson, Kentucky and Billy Belt of Marion, Kentucky; one sister, Betty Maxine Sutton of Marion, Kentucky and five grandchildren, Alyssa, McKenzie, Madison, Abby and Gaige.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m.
