Funeral services for Ms. Gaspard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with Rev. Artie Cole and Blaine Ussery officiating. Interment will be in Paul Cemetery, Deville, Louisiana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Ms. Gaspard, age 56, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Hilltop Nursing Home in Pineville, Louisiana.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired correctional officer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and being in the outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Thomas and Lorena Huffman; one brother, Joe Wayne Huffman.

She is survived by one son, David Gaspard, Jr. (Bridget) of Deville; one daughter, Christy Gaspard (Chris Cross) of Deville; one brother, Ricky Huffman (Lou) of Pollock; two sisters, Virginia Mae (Ginny) Smith (Phillip) of Trout and Julie Bonial (Chris) of Pineville; eight grandchildren, Bailey Malone, Tailyn Gaspard, Maddie and Emma Cross, Ashlyn Gaspard, Montana Aaron, Ireland Aaron, Cyprian Aaron, and Cascia Aaron; also survived by a very special friend Vickie Martin;

Pallbearers will be; Tyler Bonial, Hunter Bonial, Gus Smith, Joe Huffman, Mike Huffman and James Huffman; honorary pallbearers, Philip Smith, Chris Cross, Blaine Craig and Chris Bonial.
