Funeral services for Mr. Charles M. Rachal, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Christian Church, Alhoa, Louisiana with Rev. Leland Briggs officiating. Interment with Masonic Graveside Services will be at St. Rose Cemetery, Aloha, Louisiana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Rachal, age 68, of Colfax, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his residence.

He was a retired truck driver, a Baptist by faith, a veteran, a member of the Colfax Mason Lodge #259, and a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

Mr. Rachal is preceded by his parents, Marvin and Ruth Rachal, and grandson, Larry Wayne Lester.

He is survived by his wife Rita Coolman Rachal of Aloha; two sons, Chuck Rachal and wife Allene of Aloha; Cody Rachal of Colfax; one step-son, Greg Varnell and wife Tina of Pineville; two daughters, Teresa Shell and husband Greg of Dyersburg, TN, Keshia Dickson and husband Jason of Campti; one brother, Billy W. Rachal, Sr. and wife Joan of Aloha; two sisters, Linda Jowers and husband Jerry of Montgomery, Elaine Woodard and husband Gary of Dry Prong; grandchildren, Samantha, Hunter, Micah, Mallie, Chelsea, Jessie, Jada, and Jordan; great grandchildren, Bryce and Drake.

Pallbearers will be John M. Coolman, Randall Coolman, Michael Coolman, Jason Coolman, Billy W. Rachal, Jr. and Hardy Sanders; honorary pallbearers will be David Sanders and Lonnie Silk.

Friends may call at the Church on Monday, June18, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
