Funeral services for Mrs. Glenelle Brister will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Pitkin First Baptist Church with Reverends Brian Thurman and Eugene Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Drakes Fork Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pitkin. Mrs. Brister, 74, of Pitkin entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in her residence.

Glenelle Brister was a lifelong member of Pitkin First Baptist Church. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Leroy Brister of Pitkin; two sons, Gervis Brister and his wife, Sandy of Cravens and Garrett Brister of Pitkin; two daughters, Sheila Slaughter of Union Hill and Karen Williams and her husband, Eugene of DeRidder; three brothers, Sonny Maricle and his wife, Nellie of Union Hill, Bobby Maricle and his wife, Yvonne of Oakdale and Larry Maricle and his wife, Jeanette of Ten Mile; four sisters, Jessie Wright and her husband, J. R. of Conroe, Texas, Bonita Doyle of Ten Mile, Myrna Loy Johnson of DeRidder and Edith Faye Strother of Ten Mile and twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Pitkin First Baptist Church on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
