Funeral services for Mr. James H. Price will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Greg Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Price, age 87, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at his residence.

He was a lifelong resident of Pineville. He was the longtime owner and operator of the Corner Store Grocery on Hwy. 107. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Marcella Price; parents, Joseph and Eunice Price; two sisters, Kitty Miller and Billie Nugent.

He is survived by two sons, John K. Snyder, Jr. (Carole) of New Roads and Jim Price (Rene) of Pineville; two daughters, Shirley Ann Snyder of Natchitoches and Marnice Boone (Roy) of Ninilchik, Alaska; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
